Call for papers
In this one day symposium of ISSS2021, only invited speakers give talk and there is no contributed posters not as past symposia.
Instead of calling for contributed posters in the symposium, the organising committee is planning to hold a special issue in ISIJ International on the topics relating to the scope of ISSS2021.
The submission of manuscripts is NOT limited to the speakers and participants.
1. Scope
In order to continue to develop steels with advanced mechanical performance, towards a quantitative bridging of experiment and simulation, researchers and engineers are encouraged to submit the latest research results which contribute to the understanding of strength, plasticity and fracture in steels. The results of only experimental or computational researches are also welcome. It is hoped that the findings of this special issue will be shared among researchers and engineers involved in microstructure control and mechanical properties, and will lead to the development of steels with advanced mechanical performance.
2. Submission of manuscript
- Submission deadline is 31st, March, 2022.
- Manuscript should be submitted in a style consistent with the Instruction for Authors” and “Guide for the Preparation of a Manuscript” of ISIJ International.
- The manuscript should be submitted via ISIJ International online submission site on the following URL.
URL : https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/isijint - Please choose "Strength, Plasticity, and Fracture in Steels: Towards Quantitative Bridging of Experiment and Simulation” at step 4 in the submission pcocess.
If you have any questions on the operation of electronic submission, please contact the Editorial group of ISIJ.
E-mail : editol@isij.or.jp
3. Schedule for issue
- ISIJ International, Vol. 62 (2022), No. 10 (October, 2022)
- If the author chooses advance publication and agrees to pay the fee 4,700 Japanese yen tax excluded), the accepted manuscript will be published on J-STAGE within one month after the acceptance for the publication. The same DOI (Digital Objective Identifier) is given to the AOP version as that for the publication version although the volume and the page numbers are yet to be determined.
